  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Submitting a notice does not guarantee removal. We may request additional information, forward the notice to the affected party or service provider, preserve it for legal purposes, or decline requests that do not satisfy applicable requirements.

Counter-Notification

If material you submitted was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification containing your signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; your name, address, and telephone number; and the legally required consent to jurisdiction and acceptance of service of process.

After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original claimant. Restoration may occur within the period allowed by law unless the claimant informs us that a court action has been filed.

Misrepresentations and Repeat Infringement

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or counter-notification can lead to liability. Submit a notice only when you have a genuine rights-based concern. Anime Salt may restrict access by repeat infringers when appropriate and may remove content or links at its discretion.

Notices Concerning Third-Party Websites

Anime Salt may link to websites or services it does not host or control. We cannot remove material from a third-party server. If your complaint concerns content hosted elsewhere, contact that website or its hosting provider directly. We may review whether an external link appearing on Anime Salt should be removed.

Reservation of Rights

This policy is provided for general information and does not waive any rights, defenses, limitations, or safe harbors available to Anime Salt. We may revise this page as laws, procedures, or Website practices change. Rights holders should consult qualified legal counsel when uncertain about ownership, fair use, licensing, or notice requirements.
